    Strap and rings :-)

    My way of hanging!

sorry for my English (i'm from French part of Belgium)
I use 2 rings at each side (not descender ring) and pass the strap in like a waistband. EASY and fast to adjust! I add a half-hitch to secure (strap tend to slips!!).
    Tree's side, I use siberian hitch ( I don't like hardware!).

The straps (5 meters each) were used to hold the load in a trailer (breaking at 500 Kg)

    rings : 0.9 € each
    strap : 6.5 € for two.
Some cord to gather end (note : I don't use lark's head on hammock side, it stretch too much the end and create a 'central fold' in the hammock's length).

Overall, I 'm pretty happy with my DD Frontline. Will try to write a review (MY point of view)

Nice mod, I'm looking at getting rid of the webbing on my frontline, I'm going for whoopie slings ( homemade ) thanks Gadget The existing straps might make tree huggers ? If not I have a set on my DD ultralight that would double up, thanks for sharing.

    And your English is great

DD's webbing easily deteriorates in contact with the bark.

Terrific modification but I agree with Jmvdv that DD webbing does deteriorate quite fast.

Dint have mine on long enough for them to degrade, but that tape DD use is awful for picking up every bit of leaf and moss in the forest. Plus it takes up loads of space.....amsteel all the way for me
