2" Webbing, free to a good home

Anyone want any 2" webbing, I've got a bundle of the stuff.
Thing is, I'm a firefighter, and every time we have a car to practice on I have the seatbelts away!

Happy to send some out to needy folk, for the cost of postage.

That is very kind of you. I would be interested in a couple of lengths.

I'll dig up some and weigh then, see how much it will be to send.

Two straps 2m+ weigh in at 350g and I can just about squeeze them into large letter size. A stamp costs £1.51 for second class, plus 10p for the envelope (the shoe leather and labour to walk to the post office comes free).
So, for £1.61 a pair of 2" nylon webbing straps can be yours!
Message me if you are interested.

Hey Paul, are you ever going to hit me up about this? Or have you gone in a different direction now?

                Hey no worries.
I've just sourced some cheap 1" webbing. I'll let you all know if it's up to snuff after I test it.

                  Thanks
The last 1" webbing I tested worked fine as tree huggers but when I had to use it in a emergency from trees all the way to a hammock it stretched over night.

This stuff is polyester, not nylon, so stretch shouldn't be an issue. But the seller hasn't got a weight rating for it, so I have ordered a sample few metres. Gonna test it to destruction ('cos that's how I roll), then report back. He is selling 2 100m rolls, so I might be tempted by a group buy.
