    Ticket To The Moon Hammock

So I've had a couple chances to try out my new hammock, a TTTM (king size).
    http://www.ticketothemoon.com/config...lor2=2&size=32

First off, service was excellent. Website was nice and easy to customise the colours and little extras of the hammock and it was delivered super quick considering they seemingly make them to order in Indonesia - I ordered on the monday and it was here the following monday. Only down point about this was about 2 weeks later I got a letter from the courier saying i had to pay £28 custom duties... :-S

Anyway, the hammock. Went for the camo with a green secondary colour, with express bag, carabiners, tree hugger straps, and couple of storage pockets). I also ordered a kids size one for the 3 year old!

I need to tidy up the wall a wee bit!!!

There's one of these bags on either side.

Sorry, no pics of anyone bigger than my 3 year old laying in it, but this thing is very wide and 10.5ft long.

here it is in the bushes. Not the best set up, was the first time I'd tried it, and I got to the site very late, dark, starting to rain, and knackered from carrying too much crap in a rush. It was all a bit last minute, and all the lads were already there set up in front of the fire cooking their steaks. I was gutted! It looks like I might have had things a little twisted. As I said, pitch black and a crappy head torch didn't help!

        With my DD underblanket

There's no ridgeline on this hammock...think I need to rectify this to give some support to the underblanket as it has a tendency to move away from my right shoulder when I'm on an angle...
Can anyone point me to an idiot's guide to buying/making/fixing a SRL please? Like, proper idiot's guide, or link me to some suitable materials?

And here's one of the bairns trying his out in his room. My underblanket makes an awesome snug for his! He hasn't tried sleeping in it yet, just likes to tell me he will until ive set it all up, then it's back to his bed...

That's all me pics! It's definitely comfier than my DD frontline, but I still can't help but feel I haven't found 'the one' yet. Want to try a SRL next and see what difference it makes to my TTTM but I'm still half contemplating a 3rd

You can make a removeable SRL with a whoopie, sling, that way you have some adjustment to find your sweet spot

I have a fair bit of Amsteel left over, if you want a whoopie sling knocking up give me the length of your hammock and pm your address and I'll post one out to you

Your lad looks snug as a bug with the under-blanket, are you taking him out in the woods with that setup?

Are the ticket to the moon hammocks made of that silk finish nylon? They look very much like the ones I tried when I first started hammocking, unfortunately I could never get very comfortable in them.

Wey, I would, but then I'll need to buy meself a new underquilt... ;-) to be fair, I'm not sure he'll be game yet, need to get him to use it at home first. We're going camping for a night with some family in April like so I'll work on it!any other decent uk suppliers other than ukhammocks for UQ? (Down).

Yes - parachute silk if that's what you mean? What do you use out of curiosity?
