defo a hammock person but do use a tent when necessary as having a misses who wont use a hammock & 6 kids they are a necessary evil in my house

I use a van too! Ive worked out how to hang a hammock in the back so kinda still counts?.............maybe?................a little bit?

my hammock is my 1st choice. if not I just go down to my caravan. after that the basher would be 3rd, I think I am done with tents in this country. 4rth bivi. and about 143rd would be a premier inn

The hammock will always be my first choice, but there are quite a few trails I want to do where a hammock won't be possible. I got a neoair for Xmas and have made up some plans for a couple of tarps for when I have to slum it on the ground

Well I have three family tents, two Rab ridge raider hopped bivi's. God knows how many army surplus gortex bags. Two terra nova less than a bag of sugar tents, one house and I'm still not satisfied so I'm about to buy my first hammock)
So looking forward to a summer in a hammock. Hammock for me at the moment!

Bivi or Basha usually, but now having experienced a hammock it'll be a hammock whenever trees are available.
