Hello everyone
New to hammocks, got a Hennesy Asym for Christmas and been out once so far, loved it !! Then realised that I was sleeping in it wrong ! Oh well will be more comfy next time !

Welcome.........................Theres a bit of a learning curve when it comes to hammocks. It takes a few nights to get things ironed out and how you want them, but once you do there is no finer way to sleep in the outdoors.

It's the expedition delux, I slept in it like a gathered end, rather than how it should have been, slept ok though so no great problem, sleeping on a mat was warm enough, don't think they do an underquilt for that model

Lovely hammock mate. Do you mean you slept like a banana rather than across the hammock? They don't do an underquilt but do offer a 'super shelter' system which Kris is selling in here. I use a mat but most others on here use quilts.
