    Down filled loveliness!

Does anyone have any experience with these? I had a look a friend's set at the bushcraft show and I like it, I like it a lot!

I have the summer TQ and UQ both with overfill.........................I cant remember the amount of extra down I had added to each ( I'd have to check my emails from when I got them) ,but they've seen me through from early March to late November without a cold night. I like them, well made and I'd say money well spent.

Do they compress down well? I was considering the winter versions of both without overfill

I've been thinking about these for a while now. Quite high on my list of wants.

The summer UQ will go in a 10 litre event compression sack , but the winter one being full length & and with more down will take up more space. I tend not to compress the top quilt to much prefering to stuff it in a drybag and then it goes into the bottom of the rucksack as is so it fills any gaps, but it takes far less space than my old Snugpak SF2 sleeping bag which I used to carry in the same way.

If I get time tomorrow night I'll get some pics of the compressed sizes.

That would be great if you could ๐Ÿ˜Š

My thoughts are if the winter TQ & UQ are small enough, I'll just get them I've no doubt that they pack smaller than the Snugpak ones I currently have

              Some pics..........................

              Summer quilts.
              Top quilt.
Event airstream lite 10ltr compression bag................... highly recommended.
Compressed UQ in blue and TQ in one of my Snugpak compression bags with my standard Stella S.I unit (25cms tall).

I should of measured them with a rule when I had them compressed, but forgot........

Cheers for taking the time to take pics for me Bud, I really appreciate it ๐Ÿ˜Š

I'd best start saving my pennies! I like the idea of a longer UQ like the snugpak I'm currently using, so might still go for the winter or 3 season version ๐Ÿ˜Š

Now ordered, now I remember what's like to be a kid at Christmas ๐Ÿ˜Š went for the winter versions of both TQ and UQ. Probably going to get an ortlieb with valve for them to go in, to keep them dry and allow them to be compressed but not into lump to be packed round ๐Ÿ˜Š

Well Si? Have you used these yet (assuming they arrived ok)?

Being a noob I'd like to know what you thought of them.

                          Cheers

Very good Bud, though it's a lot of cash to shell out. It's been a bit warm for a proper test. ๐Ÿ˜Š
