Nearly wild camping - a woodland to hang your hammock in

I work as a warden for Eco Camp UK... Our Beech Estate Woodland Campsite is on the edge of a 600-acre woodland and hammock campers are welcome. We've been welcoming hammock campers since the site started out - but we're trying to spread the word further among the hammock camping community.
Take a look at the article I've written on the Eco Camp UK website about why we think Beech Estate is a good spot for all you hammock campers.... let us know what you think!

Recommended spot for hammock camping and bivouac camping legally within a 600-acre UK woodland. Hang your hammock between the trees for a night in nature.

Welcome Woodland Warden.............................Looks a great site and its always good to hear of another hammock friendly campsite within reach of London. I'll certainly be looking at paying a visit at some point and I'm sure there will be a great deal of interest from others on here based in the South.

That's good to hear, I had already put that on the map of hammock friendly campsite I am compiling; just hadn't got round to contacting you yet!
What about the Wild Boar Wood site?

Thanks for all the positive comments. Hope some of you make it down to Beech Estate this year! Unfortunately the licence we have for our Wild Boar Wood Campsite does not allow hammock camping at the moment... we only have pre-erected bell tents there. It's a lovely little site (although I am probably biased!) but probably more suitable for when you hammock campers are coming with friends and family who don't have their own tents or hammocks - or just don't fancy pitching or hitching!
