        Yeah seen the ReallyBigMonkey before ... not really treeless is it ?
        He's using great chunks of tree to build a frame to hang from ...
        I like the Tarp Poles idea ... though soft ground like sand or shingle would need some immovable fixing points buried for the guy lines ...

                Absolutely !!! I get bitten to pieces without ... that's why I stopped using the tarp n'bivi ...
                carrying tarp bivi and some sort of mossie netting...
